The Home Depot FREE Kids Workshop 10/3/09

The Home Depot offers a FREE “how-to” workshop for kids on the first Saturday of each month. This Saturday, October 3rd, you can bring your child in to build a neat Firehouse Bank. These clinics are designed for children ages 5-12. The “how-to” clinic begins at 9 am.

Bass Pro Shops Fall Hunting Classic

Bass Pro Shops Fall Hunting Classic begins this weekend. This seventeen day event runs from August 7 through August 23 and all the events are FREE. This weekend is Bass Pro Shops Hunting University. There will be educational hunting seminars taught by professional hunters and outdoorsmen.

If you have a child or grandchild who wants to learn about hunting be sure to take them to the Next Generation Weekend, August 22 and 23. Children can practice their shooting, make crafts, and attend hunting seminars. For each seminar they attend they will get a punch on their punch card. When the card is complete they will receive a FREE “Bass Pro Shops Next Generation” DVD.
